A GARAGE DOOR WORKDAY, MADE SIMPLER

The next step shouldn’t
depend on someone remembering.

Set your usual door-order lead time and when the office should check with the supplier. Keep approaching deliveries and late orders visible, then move an arrived door toward a booked install. For customer follow-ups, set the timing and wording for estimate and invoice emails in one place.

01

Keep the office ahead of door orders

Set a usual lead time and a supplier check-in window. The app flags orders that are approaching their expected arrival or running late. Mark an order as arrived to move it into the ready-to-book workflow.

02

Prepare invoice reminder sequences

Choose reminders before, on or after the due date. Edit each message and use fields for the customer’s name, invoice number, balance and link. When enabled, the email sequence starts after you email an invoice to the customer.

03

Give estimate follow-ups a clear plan

Set the timing and wording for quote follow-ups, preview the message and configure an office handoff interval. Your team can also move an estimate to manual follow-up and keep call notes with the record. Enabled email steps run after you email the estimate. Approval stops them; a change request or taking over pauses them.

GOOD TO KNOW

Automations,
explained.

Clear answers before you get started.

Will invoices automatically send reminders today?

Enabled email reminders start when you email the invoice to the customer. Reminders stop when it is paid or voided. Automated text steps are skipped until text delivery is connected.

Which internal reminders are available now?

Special-order settings drive expected arrival dates and supplier check-in flags. Orders nearing their expected date or running late are highlighted for the office. Your team records the supplier call and books the installation after arrival.

Can I change the wording and timing?

Yes. Add or reorder steps, select a text or email template, edit the wording and preview it with sample details. Invoice steps can be before, on or after the due date.

Can I choose who receives customer activity alerts?

Yes. Turn alert types on or off and choose the roles that receive them, including office roles and, where available, the assigned technician. Existing permissions apply, and each device must enable its own alerts.

What customer activity can the team see?

The notification inbox can show new requests, estimate change requests and approvals, payments and deposits, and the first customer view of an estimate or invoice.

Can I build any custom automation?

The current settings cover quote follow-ups, invoice reminders and special orders. This is not an unrestricted workflow builder.
